We regret to inform you that The Learning Nook of Orange Park FL, Clay County's largest teacher supply store will close its doors forever and go out of business on January 31, 2010.  After 4½ years and the economy being as it is, we cannot continue to keep our doors open.  We have put every dime we have ever made from the store back into the store, expanding and purchasing stock.  We lovethis store and the community needs us, we only wish there was a fairy godmother out there, but that's not going to happen.

 

We do not take his step lightly, we have hesitated to close our doors hoping and praying that the economy will change, but with teachers laid off, school boards without funding, sales in decline, it's tough, and we feel it all.

 

We will be liquidating our stock with a close-out sale beginning today.  Please come by and get in on the last deals!!  We will also be shifting to an online store on E-Bay at http://stores.ebay.com/The-Learning-Nook.  Our new phone number will be 904-677-9837 after February 1, 2010 if I can help you with anything.
